These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Yuzu platform, including the website, guest queue pages, business dashboard, and related services. By using Yuzu, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Yuzu is a digital queueing platform that allows restaurants, bars, clubs, cafés, and event venues to manage guest waitlists. Guests can join queues by scanning QR codes and receive real-time notifications.

2. Guest Users

  • Guests do not need to create an account to use Yuzu.
  • By joining a queue, guests agree to receive queue-related notifications through their chosen channel.
  • Guests must provide accurate information when joining a queue.
  • Guests under 13 years of age are not permitted to submit personal information to Yuzu.

3. Business Users

  • Business users must create an account and provide accurate venue information.
  • Business users are responsible for the operation of their queues and for compliance with local regulations.
  • Business users may not use Yuzu to send unsolicited marketing messages to guests.
  • Business users are responsible for their staff's actions on the platform.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Yuzu for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other users or venues
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
  • Use automated systems to join queues or manipulate queue positions
  • Harass venue staff or other guests through the platform

5. Notifications

Yuzu sends queue-related notifications only. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and notification channel. You may opt out by leaving the queue or changing your notification preferences.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of Yuzu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. Service Availability

Yuzu is provided "as is." We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for missed notifications due to carrier issues, device settings, or third-party service outages.

8. Billing

Business accounts are subject to the pricing plan selected at sign-up. Plan details, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are provided during the sign-up process.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Business users may cancel their account at any time. Guest queue data is handled per our data retention policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

Yuzu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to missed queue positions, delayed notifications, or venue-side operational issues.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Yuzu after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email to registered business users.
